CPA Goal in Push.House: What It Is and Why You Should Test It

Hey there! Push.House here.

We care about our partners’ success and always aim to make your experience with Push.House as smooth and profitable as possible. Today, we’re excited to introduce one of the biggest updates of the year — CPA Goal is now available in beta.

CPA Goal is a model that takes traffic buying to a whole new level. The feature is already live in your dashboard, so let’s take a closer look at how it works and how to get the most out of it.

What Is CPA Goal?

CPA Goal is an automated bidding model based on your target cost per action (CPA). Unlike traditional formats where you manually set a CPC or CPM, with CPA Goal you simply specify how much you’re willing to pay for a conversion — and the system automatically calculates effective bids for each source.

Key points:

  • You set your desired CPA — the target price for a lead.
  • The system automatically adjusts bids for each source depending on its performance and conversion rate.
  • You still pay for clicks, but optimization is fully focused on reaching your CPA.
  • Sources that don’t convert get reduced bids, which helps save budget and shift focus to stronger sources. At the same time, promising sources may receive higher bids — but calculated in a way that the final CPA never exceeds your target.

How CPA Goal Works in Push.House

We’ve made sure that launching a CPA Goal campaign feels familiar and simple:

1. In your dashboard, create a new campaign and choose CPA Goal as the payout model.

2. Set your desired CPA.

3. The algorithm automatically adjusts bids in real time. Sources that convert get bid increases, and sources with no results are blocked after reaching the test limit.

Important: Since the feature is still in beta, occasional delays or minor inaccuracies in optimization are possible. We recommend monitoring your campaign manually during the test phase.

4. You can set a spend limit per source to prevent overspending while testing new sources. For example, the limit can be several times higher than your target CPA, and the system will gradually test sources and adjust bids accordingly.

The algorithm follows the following principles:

  • Bids increase where conversions cost less than your target CPA — this helps capture more quality traffic.
  • Bids decrease on sources where conversions are too expensive.
  • Sources with no conversions may be excluded.
  • For everything in between, the system calculates bids based on average conversion rates and pricing.

Supported Formats

You can run CPA Goal campaigns on the following formats:

  • Web Push — classic push notifications with strong engagement.
  • In-Page — native-style notifications displayed directly on the website.

You stay fully in control of the budget:
set a campaign-wide limit or assign separate budgets for each source.

Advantages of CPA Goal

  • Cost optimization: you pay only for real conversions, not just clicks that may never convert.
  • Automation: the system finds the strongest sources and adjusts bids automatically.
  • Transparency: you clearly know your lead price and can track ROI easily.
  • Flexibility: set budgets, limits, and parameters the way you want.
  • Time-saving: the algorithm handles routine optimization so you can focus on strategy.
  •  Conversion focus: low-performing sources are filtered out, increasing campaign efficiency.

Who Benefits Most from CPA Goal

CPA Goal is especially useful for anyone working with offers where lead quality is crucial: dating, finance, subscriptions, sweepstakes, and similar verticals. If your goal is to maximize ROI while reducing manual optimization, this model is a perfect match.

CPA Goal is currently in beta, and you can be among the first to try it.

Final Thoughts

CPA Goal is your chance to make traffic buying more predictable and easier to manage. You set your target lead price — the algorithm finds, tests, and scales the best sources, while you pay only for actual conversions.
