A Fresh Case Study with Black Lists!

The screenshots in this case study are in Russian because the orginal case study was provided by a Russian speaking webmaster and this is just a translation of the case study.

Hey, media buyers!

Today I want to present you a case study, fresh and hot, all as it should be, not overused, so let’s dive in! I conducted a couple of tests and decided to help out the community because I noticed that many folks are feeling down. But there’s no need to panic; there are plenty of great offers and traffic sources out there, so let’s get started!

First and foremost, I want to clarify that the goal of this case isn’t to showcase six-figure earnings but to provide valuable insights and a working setup that you can confidently replicate.

So, here’s the deal: I’m searching for new offer+traffic source combination and testing offers. I’m not keen on wasting my hard-earned money, so I create one creative for each offer and set a limit of 2,000 clicks. The strategy is simple: if there are no leads, I drop the offer; if leads are coming in, I optimize.

Last week, I decided to try out the Flex Active offer for Iran. Iran seemed like an untapped GEO, and I thought, why not give it a shot? There shouldn’t be much competition in Push.House there.

I checked it out, and there were both landers and transit pages available. I liked the offer overall. It’s in the joints vertical, which I’ve never managed to profit from before. Still, it might work for Iran.

I requested the offer and set up the Postback with Push.House. It’s all automatic there, so I won’t go into details. I selected both transit pages and both landers right away. I went to the landers, used a translator (Google Chrome translates automatically if it’s your last option) to convert the text on the landers, and grabbed the text for my creatives straight from the landers. All that was left was the image. Of course, I had to do a bit of spying on others’ creatives to save myself some brainstorming time. After some searching, I stumbled upon an image of joints and some kind of potion. I thought it might appeal to older folks, so I decided to test it out.

I logged into Push.House, set up a campaign with a minimal budget, connected feeds at $0.001, and set it to run as a test. I set the limits to 2,000 clicks and chose mobile devices to quickly see results. After launching, I went about my business. I returned at night to check the stats before bed and optimize as needed.

I saw that Iran had cost me a little over $4 but had already given me two conversions. “This is good,” I thought. I went to CPA.House to check the stats, and there I had 12 leads, 2 conversions, and no holds, rejections, or trash leads at all. “Nice,” I thought to myself, “Iran is performing well. The call center will probably call the leads, and some more money will come in tomorrow or the day after.”

I looked at the statistics, and most of the leads were coming from the Transit Page B + Landing Page B combination, and this combination was the only one with approvals. It was clear that this was a working combo. I removed Transit Page A and Landing Page A from the flow, leaving only the ones that were working. There wasn’t much competition for Iran on Push.House, so my campaign quickly climbed to the second position. I adjusted my bid to $0.0021 to be in the first position and relaunched. Now I had a daily limit of 10,000. I ran it for a couple of days, with leads and conversions. Gradually, I started optimizing, adding sites to the blacklist and looking at OS statistics. At this stage, I removed the limits altogether. I created a basic blacklist and kept only the converting systems.

I ran for just over a week, my ROI still positive. I wrote to the admins, saying I found a working combo and wanted to share. They were happy to hear that and supported the idea, saying they were all for it. I told them that my volume wasn’t big, just a test, but I wanted to share with the community and even reveal my blacklists. I said I would see how it goes, and if it’s successful and people like it, I’ll keep sharing working and untapped combinations.

The admins gave their approval, and here you go, first hand, so to speak.

Here is my blacklist: 335296301, 175202276, 8015618, 1000435, 1000437, 348250690, 63624185, 21427427, 8019909, 14506827, 1004877, 13632053, 8025669, 1004973, 319473133, 13632051, 8019713, 8021706, 1014066, 13632055, 8020117, 8022728, 319473153, 8023271, 8018311, 335296343, 175202275, 328739172, 8020319, 8023257, 8027157, 8018513, 335090558, 8018321, 13632054, 291096939, 96671822, 8019751, 13632056, 147624590, 8021290, 8016450, 8019820, 319473080, 8027354, 1013574, 22184268, 351716633, 96704246, 14528583, 8021705, 763333009, 730370041 ,239078887, 763335266, 763334153, 8026846, 763332997, 8024463, 1, 763335322, 8025222, 8025096, 150056235, 8027161, 319473063, 505548416, 335090719, 291096678, 763333574, 763335114, 8023707, 319473070, 352929814, 1014080, 14506824, 8023694, 8020103, 8022245, 523584781, 718538175

Regarding OS, I kept the last 4 versions of Android: 11, 10, 9, and 8. I disabled the rest because the conversion rate wasn’t great.

Here’s a working combo for you: I provided the pre-landing, the landing, the OS, and even the blacklists. Feel free to change the creatives and give it a try. Most importantly, give me feedback later so I know if this helps anyone.

Now, let’s look at the stats: 52 conversions in total, generating $364, and I spent only $234. That means an ROI of +55%.

Here are the proofs:

Come in while it’s still hot, and boost your spirits with this winning combo!

That’s all for now. I’m looking forward to your feedback. Best of luck and profitable campaigns to everyone!
